Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW
Layla is passionate about helping individuals live liberated by the grace and love of a holy God.
As a counselor at a special needs school, Layla served adolescents with behavioral struggles, intellectual disabilities and traumatic pasts. With several years of experience in private practice, Layla specializes in serving people struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, social anxiety, learning disabilities, and Autism. She takes a wrap-around approach to counseling by collaborating with families, teachers, and other professionals as she helps clients. More importantly, Layla approaches therapy from the belief that people need help outside themselves, which is offered in the truths of God’s word.
Layla graduated with a B.A. in Public Policy and Journalism from Patrick Henry College in 2000. She earned her Master of Clinical Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012 and her Licensed Clinical Social Work license in 2017.
One of Layla’s favorite verses is I Peter 1:3.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
